Memories of Olive

Vargas Girls: 1940 World War II era pinups painted in watercolor and airbrush by artist Alberto Vargas for Esquire magazine. Esquire was almost put out of business at one point by the US Post Office wanting to take away their second class mailing permit. But Esquire won the case in the Supreme Court.
Personally I have always been drawn the Vargas almost cartoonlike characters of women. It is like the epitome of what a man see’s as a woman. Didn’t Beck sing about Peaches and Cream??Image
