I am not sure if this is a true story but I love it and the picture, it is one of those that kind of twists your gut a little. In 1914 a boy tied his bike to this tree and then left for war. He never came back and so the tree had no other choice but to grow up around the bike. 98 years it has been one with the tree. It is amazing that nature adapts no matter what is in its way.

I think it’s amazing how nature can do that. It’s not nearly the same, but my old neighbor had really old christmas lights stuck in her tree from the people that lived in the house before them. It was really crazy looking.
